Biography

My name is Zilin Jing. I’m a second-year CS Ph.D. student advised by Prof. Shalmali Joshi at Columbia University.

Previously, I received my B.Eng. in Computer Science and Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, where I was fortunate to be supervised by Prof. Shuang Li and Prof. Hongyuan Zha. From Jan 2023 to Aug 2023, I was an international visiting student at Yale University through Y-VISP.

Research Interest: Foundation Models for Event Streams (e.g., electronic health records), Causal Inference, Reinforcement Learning, and In-context Learning.
